Tawab Djankpata steps up to North West Counties

The 22-year-old has agreed to sign for North West Counties side Alsager Town Football Club for the 2022/23 season.

Djankpata joined Central at the begging of the 2021/22 season after previously being at Macclesfield FC, FC United and Curzon Ashton. Playing in a multitude of positions from right wing back to striker, Djankpata certainly displayed his versatility as a footballer whilst being at Central.

Making his debut in Central's 2-5 home loss against Avenue in November, Tawab went on to make 11 appearances, scoring six goals in the process.

Scoring his first goal against Daisy Hill, Djankpata made a name for himself by grabbing a hat-trick in Central's 8-0 victory over AFC Burnley in February.
