Whiting picks up Central's Player of the Month award for August

Danny Whiting has picked up Manchester Central's Player of the Month award following his standout performances against Elton Vale, Wilmslow Albion, Bolton Borough and Avro Reserves in August.
Central stalwart, Whiting has played an instrumental part to Central's brilliant start to the season making vital saves in the opening four games The Burnage born keeper has brought last seasons form into this campaign and it shows with Central claiming 9 points from a possible 12 in Central's opening games. Whiting has fought off competition from Kasali and Wiwoloku who have both made a fantastic start to the season, scoring six goals between them throughout August.

Along side stand out performances after making key saves in encounters against Wilmslow Albion, Elton Vale & Bolton Borough. Whiting has been involved with 2/3 goals with his distribution being a key part of Whiting's game.
Manager Chris Tomkinson speaks highly of Whiting and knows what a key player he has been and will be this season;
