After one week off, Central will now be back in action at home, hosting a team they have already played once this season, Wilmslow Albion. On the second day of the season, Central made the short trip to Wilmslow and ended up 3-2 winners thanks to a late goal off the bench from Wiwoloku. Since then, Central have won 2 and lost 1, leaving them with 4 wins from 5 and sitting top of Division 1. We decided to have a sit down with this seasons Captain, Dan Dolling, and discuss how they have all started so well and what he is expecting from this weekends game.
First of all, we wanted to find out how he is feeling about his first season so far as Central captain, as well as, whether the title is something he and the lads thinking about at this early stage of the season.
"Buzzing to be skipper and leading the boys out every week! We've had a very good start to the season only dropping 3 points throughout the first 5 games is a fantastic start to the season and something we should be able to keep up. Of course we're all ambitious to get our hands on the title this season, but we can't get carried away and must take each game as it comes."
Next, we wanted to know what Dan thinks has been key to Central making the step up to the higher division so comfortably, so far.
"The team have settled into Division 1 quite nicely, I think that comes down to the players and managers all coming together and realising we need to work for one another in order to get the results week, in week out, against better opposition."

Now onto the weekend, with Central last playing against Wilmslow Albion so recently, we wanted to know what Central can take from that game, into the next, to try and make sure they come away with the 3 points again.
"Wilmslow were a good test away at their place, but we put in a good performance to walk away with the 3 points, as long as we all have the hunger and desire to work for one another we should see another positive result this Saturday."
Lastly, it was all about what is needed most from the team on Saturday to try and keep themselves top of the table for another week. The answer may be similar to the last, but it also highlights what really is needed week in, week out from the lads.
"Since being promoted, we understand as a team that other teams will be of a much better quality so turning up on on match day prepared and focused is a must for us to come out with all 3 points, which I have no doubts the lads will all be there and ready for the game."
The game will take place at the Seashell Trust academy this Saturday at 3pm, and if they all show up with the attitude which the captain mentioned throughout, it should hopefully be another 3 points.
