Ahead of Saturday's visit to the Seashell Trust, Central are delighted to announce that their fundraising target of £360 has been beaten as Central raised £420 for the students of Seashell Trust.

After announcing our Christmas Present appeal just nine days ago, Central staff have been amazed by the generosity of the sponsors, supporters, stakeholders and the Greater Manchester community in raising money for this fantastic course.

Tomorrow, members of the Central first team will visit the amazing students and residents of the Seashell Trust to deliver Christmas presents who will be staying on the school site over the winter break.

Manager Chris Tomkinson says how great it is to see so many different sides of the club come together to support this course.

"Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who has donated to our Christmas Appeal from sponsors like Workspace, who have been brilliant the whole way through and even to the Manchester League for supporting the course too."

"Raising £420 in just nine days is more than anyone would have expected, but it shows what an amazing and supportive community we have at Manchester Central F.C. I know what a good event this will be not only for the remarkable people who live at Seashell Trust but for the players who are attending the event, I'm sure it'll be one to remember"

"Finally, seeing Rob and Louis from our Media team, who are currently University Students at UCFB, go above and beyond what is expected and set up and run this social action project, alongside support from other members of the club, just shows what this club is all about."
