Manchester Central face Manchester Football League Division Two side, De La Salle, in this weekend's Murray Trophy fixture. The Outcasts will be hoping to replicate their successes in the Manchester FA County Cup by progressing to the latter stages of the competition.
Manchester Central have seen an uptick in form in recent weeks, following successive victories over Boothstown and Altrincham Hale which ended the month-long streak of losses.
Tomkinson will be hoping that his side can win a third game on the bounce as they host Salford-based De La Salle in the Murray Trophy.

However, this will be no easy task as De La Salle, who are currently vying for promotion from the Manchester Football League Division Two, have won all of their last six fixtures - scoring 46 goals in the process.
Thus, a strong defence - led by captain Dan Dolling - will be vital to any Central success on Saturday afternoon. However, Division One's 7th best defence will have a challenge on their hands as De La Salle possess six players whom have each hit double figures in Division Two.

A particularly watchful eye will be cast over this weekend's current top scorer, Jack Davies, who has netted 16 goals in 18 games. However, hot on his tail is Jonathan Dunne who has scored 15 goals in 20 games.
Thus, Saturday's fixture may become a war of attrition, as Central will be forced to out-score Division Two's top scorers - with 95 goals so far.

That said, Central have a potent weapon in their back pocket in Fuad Kasali. The White's star striker battered Division Two defences last season, scoring 31 goals in 23 games - form which has translated well into Division One as he has netted on 16 occasions in as many appearances.
Furthermore, the results over the previous two weeks have proved that Central do not solely rely on Kasali or his strike partner, Raposo, for goals - with contributions from Amoakwa, Costa, Gunel, Asqari and Delgado.

As results have improved over recent weeks, heads have lifted on the pitch. Central will be hoping that this positive run of form continues and that they can dispel the woes following the penalty shoot-out heartbreak imposed by Chadderton Reserves in the County Cup final just weeks ago.
