August Player Of The Month Revealed

Dan Dolling has been awarded Manchester Central's Player of the Month award for August.

Despite the disappointing start to the season for Central Dan Dolling has been the stand out player for the Outcast's in the opening fixtures.

The Central captain has been by far the most consistent performer so far and deservedly picks up the first POTM award.

A leader both on and off the park, Dolling has played with his heart on his sleeve and although grateful for the recognition, is keen not to get too ahead of himself.

"I'm delighted to receive player of the month for August. I've put in a lot of work over the summer and pre-season so it's great that's being noticed.

"Personal awards are great but ultimately football is a team game and we've been really disappointing so far this season.

"As captain I definitely feel a level of responsibility for the performance levels of the whole team and clearly we've got lots to work on.

"Hopefully I can kick on now with the rest of the season and as a team we can start performing the way we know we can."
